A maintenance release of GPU Caps Viewer is available. GPU Caps Viewer 1.9.2 adds the support of GeForce GTS 450 and brings minor changes in the OpenGL panel.

What is GPU Caps Viewer?
GPU Caps Viewer is a graphics card information utility focused on the OpenGL / OpenCL / CUDA API level support of the main graphics card. Even if you have several graphics cards in your system, only one is considered as the main OpenGL or Direct3D device. GPU Caps Viewer 1.9.2 changelog
- New: added NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 in the database.
- Change: in OpenGL panel, the real OpenGL name is used for capabilities (ex: GL_MAX_LIGHTS or GL_MAX_TEXTURE_SIZE).
- Bugfix: fixed a typo bug for the max texture buffer size: MTexels instead of MB.
- Change: GPU Shark updated to the 0.2.4 version. GPU Shark can be launched via the [Advanced GPU monitoring] button.

one small problem still to be worked out, the memory type detection for Juniper cards is still borked for my hd5770 other than that it’s all good JeGX
@Athlonite: yep I know it, the problem comes from AMD lib that doesn’t return the memory type. There is a nice function for that purpose but it doesn’t work…

Hey JeGX I know i probably asked you this already but did you ever find out why ATI artificially limit the amount of memory available to OpenGL>(256MB) and OpenCL>(512MB)… it just makes me wonder if gl/cl performance would go up if the full amount of memory was made available to the GPU for use

GPU Caps Viewer 1.9.2 – Julia4D OpenCL demo crashes on my system.
I am running Windows 7 64 bit and I have 2 GTX 460 in SLI.
Latest nvidia drivers: 260.89 WHQL.
@Zibri: try the latest R260.93: they fix the bug in Julia4D demo.

Can’t download GPU Caps Viewer, I get a popup that says ‘We can not find the download file’ or something to that effect. The download window opens but then it pauses and Boink I get the message every time. No matter where on the site I try to down load it is the same! I’m running WinXP SP3, have an AMD 64 Athlon, on an ACER Aspire E360, With 2GB of RAM. Any idea why it can’t find the dwnload file when I left click on the “You can download GPU Caps Viewer 1.9.2 here (Win32 installer):
