GPU Caps Viewer 1.17.2 Released

GPU Caps Viewer + GeForce GTX 680

GPU Caps Viewer 1.17.2 is a maintenance release. This version fixes some annoying errors in the XML report (like duplicate attributes or unexpected xml elements). I checked the XML file with the latest Firefox 15.0.1 to be sure it’s valid.

What is GPU Caps Viewer?

GPU Caps Viewer is a graphics card information utility focused on the OpenGL, OpenCL and CUDA API level support of the main (primary) graphics card. Even if you have several graphics cards in your system, only one is considered as the main OpenGL or Direct3D device. For OpenCL and CUDA, GPU Caps Viewer details the API support of each capable device available in the system. GPU Caps Viewer offers also a simple GPU monitoring facility (clock speed, temperature, GPU usage, fan speed) for NVIDIA GeForce and AMD Radeon based graphics cards.

Changelog

  • Bugfix: removed some XML errors: duplicated attributes, unexpected elements (graphics_controller) and moved PStates in separate XML elements inside gpu element. OpenCL extensions have been updated and included in the device element.
  • Update: ZoomGPU 1.8.8 (GPU monitoring lib).

Sadly it can’t Detect the GTX660m on my Lenovo Ideapad Y580 and instead of GK107 in front of GPU field it shows show Unknown .

also f I’m not wrong GTX660m have a TDP of 50w but the related field is empty

By the way Device Id is 10DE – 0FD4 and Subdevice ID is 17AA – 3977

  2. I Love APU

Is it possible add a device selection in command line parameter? We’d like to use it on dev1. The default is dev0. So test will run on our second graphic card.
