AMD has annouced today a new member of the R7 family, the Radeon R7 260. The R7 260 is based on a Bonaire GPU, the same GPU as the Radeon R7 260X and the Radeon HD 7790. Compared to the R7 260X, AMD has disabled two compute units and cut down the number of texture units. The price is also smaller: USD $109. The launch day is planned on January 14 2014.
