OS X 10.11, codenamed El Capitan, has been released around one month ago. Few times after the release of OS X 10.11, I tried to update my current hackintosh setup (OS X 10.10 Yosemite) with tonymacx86’s Unibeast, but without success.
Few days ago, the version 6.1.1 of Unibeast has been released with bugfixes related to Clover installation with UEFI. I put Unibeast 6.1.1 + El Capitan installer (downloaded from Apple’s website) on a 16GB USB key (a 16GB USB key is required for El Capitan + Unibeast install) and I managed to instal OS X 10.11 on my hackintosh setup (ASUS P8Z77-V + Core i7 3770K @3.5GHz + AMD Radeon HD 6870). I followed this installation guide.

This new installation works fine except the boot step: I have to use the installation USB key to boot on the SSD (the HFS device on the following screenshot):

I launched post-installation tools (Clover_v2.3k_r3320_UEFI.pkg + CustoMac Essentials) but something prevents to boot from the SSD. I don’t work with the hackintosh every day so it’s not an important issue since I can boot from the USB key.
I suspect you need to create a small efi partition on your blog volume… The USB key has one you can copy wholesale. Then you will get the same efi boot menu without USB key. Took me ages to figure this out.
Boot, not blog
