Few days before NVIDIA’s big announcement (RTX 30 Series), AMD has quietly (quietly but all hardware websites have the news…) launched a new Radeon card: the Radeon RX 5300. Actually this card is not a brand new card but is a new variant of the Radeon RX 5500 XT. The RX 5300 is based on the same GPU (Navi 14 in 7nm) and has the same render configuration: 1408 shader processors, 88 texture mapping units and 32 render output units. The card comes with 3GB of GDDR6 memory that communicates with the GPU via a 96-bit bus interface. This is the main difference with the RX 5500 XT that has a 256-bit memory interface.
The Radeon RX 5300 targets NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 and is a graphics card for casual gaming.
