I quickly tested Heaven 2.5 with a Radeon HD 6970 and a GeForce GTX 580. The Direct3D 11 render path works fine but it’s the case for the OpenGL 4 renderer: low scores for both GTX 580 and HD 6970. And I don’t speak about OpenGL and SLI or CrossFire support…
Test bench: Core i7 960 @ 3.2GHz, 4GB DDR3 Corsair Dominator, GIGABYTE X58-A UD5 mobo, Windows 7 64-bit, Graphics drivers: R266.58, R267.31 (for the GTX 580) and Catalyst 11.2, Corsair AX1200 PSU.
Heaven 2.5 settings: 1920×1080 fullscreen, 4X MSAA, 16X anisotropic filtering, tessellation: normal, shaders: high.
Heaven 2.5 – Direct3D 11 render path:
– GTX 580 R267.31: 44.7FPS, Scores: 1125
– GTX 460 SLI R266.58: 40.2FPS, Scores: 1013
– HD 6970 CF / Cat 11.2: 63.9FPS, Scores: 1610
– HD 6970 single / Cat 11.2: 33.2FPS, Scores: 835
Heaven 2.5 – OpenGL 4 render path:
– GTX 580 R267.31: 28.5FPS, Scores: 718
– GTX 460 SLI R266.58: 9.3FPS, Scores: 234
– HD 6970 CF / Cat 11.2: 23.5FPS, Scores: 592
– HD 6970 single / Cat 11.2: 23.5FPS, Scores: 593
I also re-tested the OpenGL renderer of Heaven 2.1 with the same settings:
Heaven 2.1 – OpenGL 4 render path:
– GTX 580 R267.31: 47.2FPS, Scores: 1188
– HD 6970 single / Cat 11.2: 26.1FPS, Scores: 658
– HD 6970 CF / Cat 11.2: 26.1FPS, Scores: 656
Only Direct3D 11 render path works fine in single and multi-GPU (SLI or CrossFire). OpenGL render path is slow and must have a problem because in Unigine Heaven 2.1, the OpenGL renderer works fine (see the score of the GTX 580).

i think theres some issue with Anti-aliasing and the opengl mode as my scores below show..
i also had a low fps with 4x AF + 4x AA opengl..
opengl is actually faster when AA is off!

mmm well i dont have eny problems my score is high score 1572 whit my 5970 some overclock like: core V 1.075 core 800mhz memory 1120mhz
use 266.26 for any testing, the .31 driver is based on the bugged 266_45 branch (like 266.58 and 266.24) while 266.26 is based on 266_66
*typo 266.24 should be 267.24 and 266.26 should be 267.26.
regardless, 267.26 is the most up to date branch at this point with the AO and CPU usage fixes implemented while 267.24 and .31 do not.

I have strange glitches when grass is rendered. Does anyone have the same experience, or this is the problem with NV 270.32 drivers on Win7 64-bit (GTX470/i7-870)?
ive just updated to IE9..now heaven benchmark wont even start…crashes unigine.exe straight away 🙁
LOL, who is even still using IE? :-p
